On Whitley Av. a few blocks north of Hollywood Blvd. is a stretch known as Whitley Heights. It stretches from from La Brea to Gower. Completed in 1918 as an Italian Hilltown by H. J. Whitley. Bette Davis and Rudolph Valentino among other celebrities lived here in the 20s.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
