Castle Ivar is nestled in the Hollywood Hills within walking distance from Hollywood Blvd. it is named after the street it is located on Ivar Avenue. It is a 5 story privat owned castle and is located right across the street from Marilyn Monroes teenage home and two houses down from Hollywood star Hoppalong Cassidys home in his glamour days. It is also said that this was Madonnas home when she first came to hollywood. You can rent a room at the castle or you can rent it for a private party. The view is spectacular from the roof-top deck . You can see all over LA from downtown to the Pacific Ocean. Best view for a photo of the castle is from the 101 Freeway and Vine exit.
