Santee Alley is located in LA's Fashion District and consists of two strips of road with countless number of shops. It is a place you just have to visit to experience the atmosphere and vitality that electrifies the air down there...and of course if you want to look for bargains.....because this is one of the best places for just that. Be sure to bring cash and dont hesitate to bargin with the sellers, you can knock off prices on almost everything. You can get anything from jewelery, make-up, perfume, clothes, shoes, toys, name-brand sunglasses and name-brand purses and wallets. Be aware that these name brands are fake, but they sure look real...and if you don't care then you can fine some really nice items down there. Some of the name-brand shoes and clothes are real....and you can get some nice Levi's or Ed Hardy's for a reasonable price.
When it is time for lunch or just a snack you have to try one of their bacon wrapped hot dog stands and the mango con chile and limon, and the coco con chile and limon.
