Los Angeles Event Planning
Tip #1: Catering.
Make sure you’ve got the right kind of catering for your event. More formal events will require more formal catering, and you may even want to consider a banquet hall for these events. Banquet halls are all over Los Angeles, and they can provide you with a lot of different services, including a plated service or a buffet service. Other catering services can help you for different kinds of events like weddings and business parties.

some of the things you can see at Forest Lawn- Hollywood Hills
World's largest historical mosaic, The Birth of Liberty.

Reproduction of Michelangelo's Moses in white Carrara marble. The horns on Moses' head are due to a misinterpretation in the Bible of Michelangelo's day. The word "shone" in Exodus 34:29 was mistranslated as "horned." Thus, Michelangelo read, "And Moses knew not that his face was horned," rather than "his face shone."
Lincoln Terrace with a 10-foot high statue of Abraham Lincoln
by Augustus St. Gaudens, and a panoramic mosaic depicting key events of Lincoln's life.

Paramount Ranch
Agoura Hills, CA. / (818) 597-9192
You can sometimes watch location shooting at Paramount Ranch. It was owned by Paramount Studios, but is now a public park, still used as location for filming. Admission is free.
The popular TV series, "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (starring Jane Seymour) was filmed by CBS at the ranch. Unfortunately Dr. Quinn's cabin was torn down after the show was canceled, along with the church, schoolhouse, blacksmith's forge and the Chateau Springs Hotel sets. Dr. Quinn's clinic is still there, and so is the barbershop, the bank and the train depot, as well as other buildings which preceded Dr. Quinn, such as the mercantile, newspaper office, the saloon, sheriff's office, etc.
For directions and more information about the ranch, see the separate webpage about the history of the Paramount Ranch.
